Shine in Fashion: Our fashion event at Soho Basel

On May 8th, 2024, Influence lit up the runway at Soho Basel as part of the unforgettable Shine in Fashion 2024 showcase. In partnership with JJworld Switzerland, Lovely Apple and Soho Basel, this evening was a celebration of community, creativity, and collaboration — right in the heart of Basel’s most iconic bar.

A night to shine

Together with our event partners and the stylish crowd that joined us, we created an evening full of energy, elegance, and unforgettable fashion moments. Guests were welcomed into the intimate yet vibrant atmosphere of Soho Basel, where the drinks flowed, the music set the tone, and fashion took center stage.

The runway: Two brands, one vision

The runway featured two shows: first, Influence Businesswear, followed by the stunning looks from Lovely Apple. It was a true moment of collaboration, co-creating an evening that showcased two distinct but complementary visions of contemporary fashion.

From tailored blazers to effortless two-pieces, our models brought Influence to life — delivering looks that blend professionalism with personal style. Each outfit was designed to move seamlessly from meetings to afterwork, empowering women to feel confident wherever the day takes them.

JJWorld networking & business community

A special thank you to Lila Jami and the JJworld Switzerland team, whose passion for building bridges between fashion, business, and community made this collaboration possible. The Shine in Fashion event reflected JJworld's spirit of connecting people through meaningful experiences and forward-thinking partnerships. It was more than a fashion show — it was a space where professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs came together to be inspired and build new connections.

Event highlights

1. Runway collaboration: The show came together thanks to an incredible partnership with Jelena Zoric, the founder of Lovely Apple. Together, we briefed models, coordinated backstage details, and created a shared vision. Jelena’s experience, calm presence, and motivating energy were invaluable. “Her encouragement, insight, and quiet strength have not only kept me grounded but have also inspired me deeply,” said Helen Seker.

2. The venue: Special thanks go to Arton Krasniqi and the entire Soho Basel team. Arton, a true host and friend, made this event possible with his open-minded approach, flawless organization, and creative energy. His passion for turning bold ideas into reality made Soho the perfect place for Shine in Fashion.

3. Backstage: Behind every stunning look was the touch of the talented makeup artist Andrea Palko and Assistant and hairstylist Manuela Kat from Cute Hairdesign. From sleek updos to soft waves, from subtle touches to statement beauty, they ensured every model felt like their most powerful self. We also want to acknowledge the hardworking backstage teams from Influence and Lovely Apple for their dedication in managing not just the show but everything surrounding it, ensuring the entire event ran smoothly and flawlessly behind the scenes.
